How much does a website cost in Ireland?
Roughly €800 to €2,500 for a tradesperson, €2,500 to €5,000 for a typical small business, and €299 to €399 at the budget end. Add €40 to €80 a month if someone maintains it, and about €25 a year for a .ie domain. But the price is rarely the thing that decides whether it works.
What you actually get at each price
At €299 to €399 you are buying a template with your details in it. That is not automatically bad. A tidy template that loads fast and lets someone book beats an expensive site that does neither.
At €800 to €2,500 you get something built for your trade, usually a handful of pages, and someone who answers the phone when it breaks.
At €2,500 to €5,000 you are paying for custom design, copy written for your business, and usually some thought about how people find you. Some Irish agencies start at €3,500.
The question that matters more than the price
A website is not the product. Getting a customer is, and that is a chain: they find you, they land somewhere, they decide, they book, someone follows up. A new website replaces one link in that chain.
We regularly check practices who spent well into four figures on a site where a visitor on a phone still cannot book, still cannot tap to call, and waits ten seconds for the page to appear. The money was spent on the link that was already working.
So before you get quotes, it is worth knowing which link is actually broken. Sometimes it is the website. Often it is what happens after someone enquires, and no redesign will touch that.
What we do differently
We do build websites, and we are happy to quote. But we do not start there. We find the biggest gap between someone searching and someone booked, and we build a fix for that gap first, whichever link it turns out to be.
The first one is free, and we build it before you pay anything, so you can judge the work rather than the pitch.
